Redseaholidays.co.uk Review
Red Sea Holidays is part of Egypt’s leading independent holiday group and focuses on selling only holidays to Egypt. For this reason they are pretty much expert in the region and are able to offer good advice to people who want help choosing the best holiday destination for them.
The website is very clearly laid out, and there are sections to go to for a number of different things including resorts, hotels, cruises on the Nile and late deals. Inside each section, there is information telling you more about what’s available, as well as lots of images to help you get an idea of what you are reading about.
In the resorts section there is information about a number of different areas as well as a map to show you where along the coast each lies. In the hotels section you get information on a number of different hotels telling you what each offers, and when you go to that specific hotel’s page, you then get more in depth info as well as pictures, map of it’s location, and a photo gallery to help you see the place a bit more clearly. The Nile cruises section tells you not just about the various places you could cruise to, but also the ships you could travel on, and what each of them has to offer. The late deals section of the site is of course slightly different and gives you lists of holidays that are on offer with prices, length and departure date. Each of these is clickable only as a booking, so to find out more about the holiday you need to reach back to the other pages of the site.
As well as all this, you can search for holidays using the ‘search and book’ section of the site. Here, you can input the details of when you want to travel, your preferred airport to travel from and other details such as how many adults and kids are travelling, and see what is available at that time.
One of the things that is clearly specified on the Red Sea Holidays site is that there are no hidden extras to worry about, all holidays on offer here include in-flight meals, 20kg luggage allowance, resort transfers and full rep-service. This is of course great to know as it can be very frustrating on other sites trying to book a holiday looking at the price initially, and then by the time you’ve got it booked you’ve added a substantial amount more to the cost because of these hidden extras.
If you have any questions, or can’t find what your looking for, Red Sea Holidays have someone available by phone seven days a week and even until 7pm in the evening on week days. They have a great selection of frequently asked questions which is able to answer most of the more common questions you might have, and if you want to browse a brochure with your family, then you can order these on the website too.
They also won bronze in the Small Package Holiday Company of the Year category of the British Travel Awards in 2010 which is no easy feat with so many companies competing. Overall the site is very well laid out, easy to use and has lots of really good clear pictures.
